| In 1986 a tidal wave of red, white and blue swept through London and the home counties when the big, brassy, bold and colourful world of Network SouthEast was launched.
Thousands of locos, coaches and units were painted in the new 'toothpaste' livery and this trend continued until the mid-1990s and privatisation.
This new programme from Train Crazy looks back at the locos and trains which made the NSE years so special.
This is not a history programme, nor does it feature every loco and unit - this is an enthusiast’s journey, looking at the Class 47s and 50s painted in the NSE livery in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
